HELP SPREAD THE WORD-REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS NEAR!! For over a quarter of a century, Monticello Chamber of Commerce has held a roast to recognize select Monticello area citizens for their part in helping Monticello become a better place to live. If you would like to join us in celebrating our SURPRISE ROASTEES this year, the roast will be held at 12:00 PM, Sunday, August 14th at The Pink Heifer Saloon and Smokehouse. The cost will be $25 per person (this includes tax and tip). A cash bar will be available. Please make your plans and return your reservation as soon as possible to assist us in preparing for this event. On the day of the event, social hour will begin at 12:00 PM. Please try to arrive by 12:30 PM, as there will be some organizing to do before the festivities begin. The program itself will start after the meal (about 2:00 PM). If you are unable to attend the dinner, you are welcome to drop by to join us in our recognition during the program. This special event is open to the public, so please CAREFULLY pass along the word, as THIS IS A SURPRISE! Our Roastees think they are just having a family dinner. Please return your reservations along with your check by August 7th. You can also drop off your reservation and check at the Greenwoods State Bank Monticello location. Hope to see you on August 14th!
